People often say dogs are men's best friend but my best friend turn out to be mosquitoes. For those who don't know what is a mosquito : it is a common insect in the family Culicidae. Mosquitoes go through four stages in their life-cycle: egg, larva, pupa, and adult or imago. Adult females lay their eggs in water, which can be a salt-marsh, a lake, a puddle, a natural reservoir on a plant, or an artificial water container such as a plastic bucket. The first three stages are aquatic and last 5–14 days, depending on the species and the ambient temperature; eggs hatch to become larvae, then pupae. The adult mosquito emerges from the pupa as it floats at the water surface. Adults live for 4–8 weeks.

So what mosquitoes do for me to be counted as my best friend ? Every night when I go to sleep before finishing my homework, they will bite me and suck my blood. That's terrible so I often have to finish all my homework before going to bed. Of course they don't spare me then, but at least they do help ;))

Last year I often went to school with the companion of my best friend, Ronaldo ;)) . He was 170-cm-tall boy with dark hair and black eyes. He often waited for me in front of his house, which was in my neighbor. He had a very good sense of humor and told jokes all the way to school. But one day, I noticed that he had a long face, so I asked "what's the matter". Then he told me that his dog, RobertoCarlos, which he loved very much, had died of cancer. He then burst into tears and cried on my shoulder. To tell the truth, I was thinking " why does it concern me, anyway " but I got to comfort him and promised that I would find him a new dog. Only then did he stop crying. What surprised me was, after a while, he began to tell joke and laugh at the joke I told him. What a light-hearted boy.

Van is one of my best friends. She is a 160-cm-tall girl with glasses and ponyhair. She often talks with a sweet and gentle voice, which makes everyone want to make friend with her. It seems that she knows how to take advance of her voice and she sure talks a lot. I met her at an English course. Her sit was in front of mine and the first thing I noticed about her was that she got a lot of pens - I was shocked when I saw her take them out, around 12 pens. The 2nd thing was that she wore a pair of shoes of the same label as mine. I guessed I had found someone who had some similarities to me. Back then I was a little shy so it took me a while to make friend with her. However it's really worth it, and now she's my best friend.

Everyone has a bestfriend in their life. I'm very lucky to make friend with Phương - my best friend. She is a pretty young angel. She is tall and slim with long black hair. She likes listening English songs. Likes to shake the belly and take care of our friends. She is a nice one, friendly, outgoing and easygoing. She loves kids so much. She thinks children are more important than anything on earth. Although my friend is very funny, sometimes she is also highly discerning. She can cry whenever. Two words to describe her: crazy and faithful. I always tell her my sadness, my dream and my happiness. I can believe in her because she is a cute girl and sociable. If anybody has dificulty in something, she will help him with all her zeal. I wish my friendship would last forever.
