An embarrassing Experience
when I was a student, I had a summer job in an expensive restaurant in Glasgow .One day we were expecting forty members of a football team for lunch .I was given the job of peeling potatoes .I thought I was managing quite well with my small knife until the owner appeared to see how I was getting on. She was amazed that I was using a knife and asked why I wasn't using the potato peeler .I had no idea what a potato peeler was so she led me into a small room behind the main kitchen .There, on the table , was a small machine the rubbish bins some people have in their bathrooms.She explained as if to a small child that I had to put the potatoes in ,close the lid and press the button .When she came back ten minutes later ,I told her I thought it was quicker to do it by hand .She asked what I meant "well ,they aren't ready yet" I replied .You can imagine how O felt when she lifted the lid and took out the lid and took out the potatoes the size of peas .The potato peeler was not automatic.

khi tôi còn la sinh viên, tôi làm hè trong nhà hàng cao cấp ở Glasgow. một ngày nọ khi chung tôi chờ 40 thành viên của đội bóng đến ăn trưa, tôi gọt vỏ cà chua và nghĩ mình mình làm rất tốt với cái dao nhỏ trong tay mãi cho đến khi quản lí xuất hiện và hỏi tôi xoay sở như thế nào. Bà ấy có vẻ ngạc nhiên khi thấy tôi sử dụng dao và hỏi tôi sao không dử dụng đồ gọt cà chua. Tôi chưa hình dung được đồ gọt cà chua như thế nào vì vậy bà ấy dẫn tôivafo một cái phòng nhỏ sau nhà bếp chính.Bà ấy giải thích như thể tôi là một đứa trẻ rằng tôi phải cho cà chua vào, đóng cái nắp lại và nhấn nút. 10 phút sau bà ấy quay lại, tôi nói với bà ấy là nhanh hơn khi gọt cà chua bằng tay. bà ấy có vẻ không hài lòng với cái ý nghĩ của tôi '' họ đã không sẵn sàng" tôi đáp. Bạn có thể tưởng tượng tôi cảm thấy như thế nào khi bà ấy lấy cái nắp lên và đưa ra kích cỡ của cà chua như hạt đậu cái gọt cà chua thi không tự động

tớ co ý kiến tới trưởng phòng nên chọng đúng giờ mà post bài chứ cứ post tùm lum mọi người không thể theo dõi hết được. yêu cầu trưởng phòng nên đề ra ngày giờ quy định chung đi nhé.[/COLOR]

mình có ra giờ quy định chung của từng buổi học nhưng mọi người cứ vào pos tùm lum hết cả đến mình còn thấy bực nữa là
ĐỀ nghị mọi người nếu có bài viết nên pos ra word trước chẳng hạn xong rùi đến h` học thỳ pos vào trong pic

Theo mình nghĩ mỗi lần chỉ post một bài, khi một người nào đó giải quyết xong một cách toàn diện thì mới post bài mới. như thế mới dễ theo dõi

Uhm, mình cũng nghĩ zay đó, khi nào làm xong bài rồi mới post lên bài khác , chứ cứ tình trạng này thì rối tung lên mất

* Sau các tính từ:

2. Passive gerund:

a. Form:

b. Use:
Gerund ở thể bị động có các cách dùng giống như cách dùng của gerund ở thể chủ động, nhưng mang nghĩa bị động.

* Làm chủ ngữ:
Eg: Being treated unfairly made her decide to quit the job.

* Làm tân ngữ sau 1 số động từ như: like, hate, mind …
Eg: I don’t like being laughed at.

* Làm tân ngữ cho giới từ:
Eg: She is afraid of beaten.
