Some people think that parents should teach children how to be good memebers of society. Others, however, believe that school is the place to learn this.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.

Parents have more contact with their children than anyone else. Based on this feature, they can directly teach their children how to live and treat everyone in this society in the best and most reasonable way. This not only helps their children to live well but also teaches them manners, provides them with basic life skills, respects elders, handles daily tasks, copes with difficult situations, things that you can't expect from school to teach because school is fundamentally associated with academics. Therefore, this idea is supported by many people. Most children imitate the activities of their parents and therefore parents have a bigger role to play in setting a good example for their children.
On the other hand, there are also many people who believe that raising children to be good citizens in the future belongs to the school. For example, the school can organize practical activities such as volunteering sessions to orphanages, ... or can organize general cleaning sessions in a certain area, or planting trees. forest,... Such activities give children practical experience in contributing to society. Therefore, many argue that it would be better to leave this to the school. Teachers on behalf of the school have a great role to play in teaching students those responsibilities. Because students listen to the teacher's suggestions and orders, they are more likely to follow what the teacher will teach. Finally, curricula and textbooks may cover such topics to increase student awareness.
