NEITHER
ex;
I have two books .Neither of them is interesting.(tôi có 2 quyển sách .không quyển nào hay cả)
Nhưng khi tập hợp có từ 3 đối tượng trở lên thì không được dùng neither mà phải dùng none
ex:
I have three books .Neither of them is interesting (sai)
I have three books .None of them is interesting (đúng)
Neither trong trường hợp này dịch là :không cái/người nào trong số đó(2 cái/người)
EITHER
DÙNG để nói một trong hai
ex:
I have two books .Either of them is interesting (tôi có 2 quyển sách .Một trong 2 quyển rất hay)
Nếu tập hợp là 3 trở lên thì không được dùng either mà phải dùng one
ex:
I have three books .Either of them is interesting (SAI)
I have three books .One of them is interesting (đúng)
2)Dùng để nói theo câu trước đó
She doesn't go to school.Neither do I .
= She doesn't go to school. I do noteither.
(cô ấy không đi học .tôi cũng không đi)
She can't swim .Neithercan I
= She can't swim . I can either
(cô ấy không biết bơi.tôi cũng không biết bơi)
Lưu ý cách dùng này chỉ áp dụng cho câu phủ định .Nếu là câu xác định thì phải dùng :too hoặc so
ex:
I like dogs.he does either (sai)
I like dogs.he does ,too (đúng)
I like dogs.neither does he (sai)
I like dogs.So does he.(đúng)

b-( Tại sao lại phản phân biệt ? Hai từ này cũng ít điểm chung thôi mà b-(
Trừ khi bạn hay nhầm giữa quá khư đơn của arise (arose) với từ arouse :|
* Phân biệt nghĩa thì :eek:
arise :+ xuất hiện , phát sinh (to happen, to exist)
+ hậu quả của cái gì, kết quả của cái gì
+ ngủ dậy
arouse : khiến ai đó cảm thấy phấn chấn, vui vẻ, hăng hái làm việc :p
+ giục , thúc thằng nào dậy khi nó đang ngủ
arose : quá khứ của arise

Chuyến đi dã ngoại đến Nha Trang cùng với các bạn cùng lớp tuần trước là 1 điều (trải qua) đáng nhớ nhất đối với tôi.
Chúng tôi tập trung tại cổng trường và xuất phát lúc 8h đó là 1 ngày chủ nhật đẹp trời nhiều nắng và bầu trời quang đãng. Tất cả chúng tôi đều háo hức về chuyện đi cắm trại này.
Trong khi chúng tôi đang đạp xe trên đường, chuyện phiếm với nhau vui vẻ thì xe đạp của tôi đột nhiên dừng. Tôi nhận thấy lốp xe bị xẹp. Tôi rất lo lắng bởi vì tôi đang ở trên đường, bạn tôi và tôi phải đi bộ khoảng 15'. May mắn thay chúng tôi đã nhìn thấy 1 hiệu sửa xe đạp và người đàn ông nhiệt tình sửa xe của tôi trong thời gian ngắn.
Chúng tôi tới hồ bơi trễ 1 chút nhưng tôi vẫn cảm thấy rất thích cuộc dã ngoại này, chúng tôi đã chơi nhiều trò chơi và có thời gian vui vẻ cùng nhau.

Theo mình thì
to urge that somebody do something: thúc giục ai đó làm gì.
Ví dụ của bạn sẽ dễ dẫn tới nhầm lẫn cho người đọc.
The teacher urged that her pupil do the exercises.
Nếu dùng với tính từ:
It + to be (chia theo thời và chủ ngữ) + urgent that somebody do something.
Nếu mình nhớ không nhầm thì đây là cấu trúc của câu giả định.
