bó tay.... tuỳ mọi người.................nhưng theo tui là như thế....
Ai choáng wa thì cứ cho hết vào là xong.hehe

Theo tớ cũng vậy, ko bỏ khi chủ ngữ là he, she... nhưng có thể bỏ khi câu gốc ko chú ý đến chủ thể làm ra hành động mà chú ý nhiều đến hành động hơn. TA chuộng câu ngắn gọn nên chúng ta nên bỏ by khi chủ ngữ là they, people, someone.....

ơ, sau by thì he, she đổi thành him, her chứ
mà him, her, you...có viết cũng dc, ko viết cũng dc, ko bắt buộc. còn mấy từ như somone, somebody, people... thì thường là bỏ, ko thấy viết trong câu.

hình như chỉ có tên riêng thì mới cần hay sao ý
còn bình thường cứ bỏ :D
thấy chả bị sao cả ;))

II-Biến đổi câu:
1.Many people visited Nara. ->Nara was visited by many people (Q nghĩ nên có by people nhấn mạnh)
2.Miss Dinh teaches us English. ->we are taught English by Miss Dinh
3.We call her Grace ->she was called Grace
4.When did they make these cars ? ->when are these cars made?
5.My uncle gave me some English books ->I was given some English books by my uncle/Some English books were given(to) me by my uncle
6.People called him “clever” Hans -> he was called "clever”
7.I was encouraged by my parents ->
my parents encouraged me.
8.Who will look after the childen? ->
By whom will the children be looked after ?
9.My brother has written to my father ->
my father has been written to my mother

bạn ttkquynh ơi by them hay by pople thì không được dùng đâu cô giáo mình nói đó là những từ không xác định đối tượng mong bạn xem lại

theo mình thì để vậy vẫn đc, như bạn ttkquynh đã giải thích rồi đó, có 1 bài kiểm tra có câu tương tự như thế này mình vẫn để by + O như thế nhưng không bị trừ điểm, nên mình nghĩ vãn có thể để đc

Câu trên hình như là lược bỏ relative pronoun :) .
Viết thế này đúng ko nhỉ ? : My father is the person to whom my brother has written.
