Nó là một kiểu câu đấy bạn à.
On ở đây được dùng với nghĩa tương tự như "when".

Dịch đại loại : Khi bị hỏi về ...., ông .... từ chối trả lời.


Cho bạn vài ví dụ tương tự:


On hearing the bad news, she burst into tear.


Gặp một câu sử dụng mệnh đề chứa when và yêu cầu viết lại với key word là "on", bạn cứ áp dụng cái On doing sth mà làm thôi.

Tưởng cấu trúc này nói một lần r` nhỉ .
Once dùng như when/ as soon as .

Once he says, he will do. (= hắn đã nói là hắn làm )


@ lần sau bạn suy nghĩ kỹ trước khi post nhé, đừng post rồi sửa tèm lem vậy à, khổ mod ra :D
