longing face không phải là một cụm hợp lệ, vì long không phải là verb và có thể thêm -ing, nếu thêm -ing nghĩa sẽ khác

Bạn @anhchauuu học bài chưa kĩ nên làm câu A, thực ra cấu trúc nó là:
own up (to something/to doing something) = confess: thừa nhận (làm việc gì xấu).

Các bạn bị mình bẫy câu này, thực ra đáp án A và B đồng nghĩa, nhưng đây là thì quá khứ đơn mà! Vậy A đâu dùng được, đáng ra phải là "made peace" =)) Vậy B đúng!
