That's life = this is the way things are. có thể dịch nôm na là "sự thật là như thế mà"
A: giá mà tôi đã ko nói vậy với cô ấy
B: Sao đâu, sự thật là như thế mà.

owe something to = have something because of....
E.g:
He probably owes his life to her help = anh ấy còn sống là do sự giúp đỡ của cô ấy.

còn như câu trên thì nó có nghĩa là "The southeast Asian Games" có nguồn gốc từ "the southeast Asian Peninsular Games"

đây là 1 cụm: in recognition of nói về sự thừa nhận, công nhận
