I. 20 tính từ phổ biến nhất:
1. NEW /nju:/ mới. This is a new lesson.
2. GOOD /gud/ tốt. You are a good student.
3. FREE /fri:/ tự do, miễn phí. This web service is free.
4. FRESH /freʃ/ tươi. You should eat fresh fruit.
5. DELICIOUS /di'liʃəs/ ngon. Vietnamese food is delicious.
6. FULL /ful/ đầy, no. The glass is full.
7. SURE /ʃuə/ chắc chắn. Are you sure?
8. CLEAN /kli:n/ sạch. The floor is clean now.
9. WONDERFUL /'wʌndəful/ tuyệt vời. You are wonderful.
10. SPECIAL /'speʃəl/ đặc biệt. This is a special present.
11. SMALL /smɔ:l/ nhỏ. All I want is a small house.
12. FINE /fain/ tốt, khỏe. She has such fine complexion.
13. BIG /big/ to,lớn. Talk soft, but carry a big stick!
14. GREAT /greit/ vĩ đại, lớn, tuyệt vời. I have great news for you.
15. REAL /ˈriəl/ thực, thật. Is that real?
16. EASY /'i:zi/ dễ English is easy to learn.
17. BRIGHT /brait/ sáng. I like a bright room.
18. DARK /dɑ:k/ tối. He prefers a dark room.
19. SAFE /seif/ an toàn. It is not safe to go out late at night.
20. RICH /ritʃ/ giàu. She is rich, but ugly.
II. 20 động từ phổ biến:

9. TAKE /teik: lấy

11. COME /kʌm/: đến
12. THINK /θiɳk/: suy nghĩ
13. LOOK /luk/: nhìn
14. WANT /wɔnt/: muốn
15. GIVE /giv/: cho
16. USE /ju:s/: sử dụng
17. FIND /faind/: tìm thấy
18. TELL /tel/: nói cho ai biết
19. ASK /ɑ:sk/:hỏi
20. WORK /wə:k/: làm việc
21. SEEM /si:m/: có vẻ
22. FEEL /fi:l/: cảm thấy
23. TRY /trai/: cố gắng, thử
24. LEAVE /li:v/: rời khỏi
25. CALL /kɔ:l/: gọi, gọi điện
III. Các giới từ phổ biến:
aboard, about, above, across, after, against, along, among, around, as, at, before, behind, below, beneath, beside, between, beyond, but (except), by, concerning, despite, down, during, except for, from, in, into, like, near, of, off, on, onto, out, outside, over, past, per, regarding, since, through, throughout, till, to, toward, under, underneath, until, up, upon, with, within, without.

[Tiếng Anh]- NHỮNG ĐỘNG TỪ VÀ THÀNH NGỮ SỬ DỤNG SUBJUNCTIVE

SUBJUNCTIVE là một hình thức chia động từ đặc biệt theo đó tất cả những động từ thường đều có dạng nguyên mẫu không TO. Ngoại lệ duy nhất là động từ TO BE, có hai dạng SUBJUNCTIVE là BE và WERE.
Biến thể SUBJUNCTIVE WERE của động từ TO BE được dùng trong câu điều kiện hiện tại không thật như ta đã học.
IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD NOT DO THAT. = (Nếu tôi là anh, tôi sẽ không làm như vậy.)
Sau đây là những động từ và thành ngữ (expressions) đòi hỏi phải dùng SUBJUNCTIVE sau chúng.
* Danh sách động từ yêu cầu sử dụng SUBJUNCTIVE:
ASK
COMMAND
DEMAND
INSIST
MOVE (với nghĩa "đề nghị" dùng trong một cuộc họp trang trọng, không phải với nghĩa "di chuyển")
ORDER
PROPOSE
RECOMMEND
REQUIRE

- Thí dụ:
+ WE DEMAND THAT HE DO IT.
+ THE PRESIDENT REQUESTS THAT YOU BE PRESENT AT THE MEETING.
* Những động từ có thể dùng SUBJUNCTIVE đằng sau hoặc có thể dùng trong cấu trúc " Động từ + Đại từ tân ngữ + Động từ nguyên mẫu có TO ":
ASK
ORDER
REQUIRE
URGE
- Thí dụ:
+ WE ASK THAT SHE BE PRESENT.
+ WE ASK HER TO BE PRESENT.
* Danh sách những thành ngữ yêu cầu SUBJUNCTIVE theo sau:
IT IS ADVISABLE THAT...
IT IS CRUCIAL THAT...
IT IS DESIRABLE THAT...
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT...
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT...
IT IS MANDATORY THAT...
IT IS NECESSARY THAT...
IT IS VITAL THAT...
- Thí dụ:
+ IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT WE VOTE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
+ THE MANAGER INSISTS THAT THE CAR PARK BE LOCKED AT NIGHT.
* LƯU Ý:
- Với những động từ, thành ngữ như trên, dù câu nói ở hiện tại hay quá khứ, SUBJUNCTIVE của động từ theo sau luôn luôn là động từ nguyên mẫu không có TO.
- Thí dụ:
+ Câu hiện tại: IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT SHE BE PRESENT.
Câu quá khứ: IT WAS ESSENTIAL THAT SHE BE PRESENT.
+ Câu hiện tại: THE PRESIDENT REQUESTS THAT THEY STOP THE OCCUPATION.
Câu quá khứ: THE PRESIDENT REQUESTED THAT THEY STOP THE OCCUPATION.
* Một số thành ngữ bất biến dùng đến SUBJUNCTIVE:
GOD BLESS AMERICA! (Các chính trị gia Hoa Kỳ thường nói câu này!)
LONG LIVE THE KING ! (Câu này tương tự như: Đức Vua Vạn Tuế)
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN ! (tương tự: Nữ Hoàng Vạn Tuế!)
BE THAT AS IT MAY, ... (dùng để bắt đầu 1 câu, có ý đại loại như "Có thể là như vậy, nhưng...", "Cứ cho là vậy đi, nhưng.." hàm ý bạn chấp nhận lời người khác nói có thể đúng, nhưng không thể tác động đến suy nghĩ của bạn).

Đầu bài có sai không em?
có phải là "indifferent" không?
"indifferent to" có nghĩa là thờ ơ, không quan tâm, không chú ý. Chị nghe có vẻ hợp lý hơn đó. Chứ "different" to thì hơi lạ đó.

To Jun: look like rain chứ nhỉ? To be free of duty: được miễn thuế. look at the book.

Thực ra câu 4 này em cũng ko hiểu cho lắm
Tại sao "she can read the paragraph" (chị ấy có thể đọc đc đoạn văn) mà lại còn "without look at the book" (mà ko cần nhìn vào trg sách) --> em ko hiểu nghĩa j` cả /

Tại sao lại là "look like rain" mà ko là " look as rain" đc ạ???

"success", "successful" hay "to succeed" chỉ đi đc với 1 giới từ duy nhất là "in" thôi

Thực ra câu 4 này em cũng ko hiểu cho lắm
Tại sao "she can read the paragraph" (chị ấy có thể đọc đc đoạn văn) mà lại còn "without look at the book" (mà ko cần nhìn vào trg sách) --> em ko hiểu nghĩa j` cả

Tại sao lại là "look like rain" mà ko là " look as rain" đc ạ???
Câu đầu thì em hok biết nữa, vì cầu này em cũng sai y chang chị. Nhưng câu "look like" thì cụm từ này có nghĩa là :"trông giống như là..." nó jống như một thành ngữ, không thể thay thế bằng "as" đc đâu.
