1. Xin lỗi
- Khi ta nghĩ ta đã làm điều gì sai, ta xin lỗi bằng cách nói: sorry
Ex: I’m sorry that we made so much noise last night.
- Chúng ta cũng dùng sorry để bày tỏ sự cảm thông
Ex: I was sorry to hear that you lost your job.
- Để trả lời khi ai đó nói sorry, ta nói Don’t mention it, Not at all hay That’s alright.
Ex: + I’m sorry my son broke your window.
That’s alright. I’m sure it was an accident.
+ Sorry about the mess.
Don’t mention it.
+ I’m sorry about the trouble.
Not at all.

2. Bày tỏ sự quan tâm
Dưới đây là các cụm từ được dùng để tìm lý do ai đó buồn phiền:
What’s the matter?
What’s wrong?
What’s the problem?

3. Đồng ý - Không đồng ý
Rất đồng ý - Agree Strongly: Definitely, I’m sure
Đồng ý - Agree: I think so, I guess so, I suppose so
Không chắc chắn - Not Sure: maybe, possibly, perhaps
Không đồng ý - Disagree: definitely not, I don’t think so

4. Bài tập
Hãy tự nghĩ 3 đoạn hội thoại tương ứng với 3 chủ đề trên, sử dụng các lý thuyết đã học ở trên. Mình sẽ chấm theo thang điểm từ 1 -> 10 cho mỗi đoạn hội thoại.

@};- Chú ý: Ở Mỹ, football là môn bóng bầu dục, soccer là môn bóng đá. Tuy nhiên ở các nước khác, Soccer và Football có thể thay thế cho nhau để chỉ môn bóng đá.

III. Cấu trúc hỏi/trả lời về môn thể thao
+ What sports do you do? (Bạn chơi những môn thể thao nào?)
Trả lời: I do/ play/ go + môn thể thao.

+ Do you do any sports?(Bạn có chơi môn thể thao nào không?)
Trả lời: Yes, I do/ play/ go + môn thể thao./ No, I don't.

+ Do you play/ do/ go + môn thể thao?(Bạn có chơi môn... không?)
Trả lời: Yes, I do./ No, I don't.

+ PLAY được dùng với danh từ mang tên môn thể thao nào đó mà có liên quan đến trái bóng, trái cầu.
Ví dụ: play soccer, play badminton.

+ GO thường đi với cấu trúc V-ing, mang tên một môn thể thao hay hoạt động giải trí nào đó.
Ví dụ: go fishing, go swimming.

+ DO thường đi với hoạt động giải trí hay môn thể thao nào đó không dùng đến trái bóng, và thường mang tính cá nhân.
