Being able to make a difference in the lives of people is a wonderful thing to me. That's why I take part in green summer volunteer campaign. So what is green summer volunteer campaign? “Green Summer” is the name of a chain of summer volunteer programs of Youth Union. The main activity is "Towards the Countryside", meaning that the volunteer teams of the Youth Union will go to the regions, remote places of the country to help the people here in different activities. Summer volunteer campaign is not only an opportunity for students to devote their youth and their enthusiasm in volunteering for the community but also is a term meaning the union of fetters, in the youth field, the responsibility of young people today in the social community. Through that we can experience and understand the lives of people. There are many reasons for students to come to Green Summer. It can be the joy of helping others who are plight and want to know about the values of national culture or wish to grow up through the trip. But finally the common purpose of the volunteers is to bring youth, determination and volunteer spirit to help ethnic minority people in remote areas. They do a lot of things: building houses, bridges, growing plants, examining and giving the medication to children and the elderly... Going to feel the life and donate our knowledge to help peoples. Ebullient and enthusiasm are the two words that best express the atmosphere and spirit of the students participating in the campaign. And the Green Summer Volunteer Campaign has been really becoming an indispensable program for students, and this is an opportunity for the young generation to grow up through this meaningful trip. Each campaign with us is very useful and interesting. It has helped us, a person who has never known how to do housework change completed, know to care and help the other peoples. After the campaign ended, everyone regretted that the meaningful days and happy memories were over. Green Summer volunteer campaign always goes with slogan”Youths are present wherever they are needed, wherever there are difficulties to cope with”. So we need to actively participate to learn more new things, to understand, to love and to feel proud.
