Xin chào các thành viên lớp B của dự án NEXT 0.2! Hôm nay mình muốn giới thiệu đến các bạn cách làm bài tập, những lỗi sai thường gặp và cách khắc phục những lỗi sai đó trong dạng bài Multiple Choice của đề thi THPT Quốc Gia.

Phần Multiple choice là phần kiểm tra rộng nhất kiến thức ngữ pháp của học sinh nhằm kiểm tra sự thông hiểu của học sinh về các cấu trúc ngữ pháp trong Tiếng Anh: thì động từ, các loại câu, loại từ … Do đó để làm được các dạng bài tập này, các bạn cần phải nắm chắc các chủ điểm ngữ pháp quan trọng và có một kiến thức từ vựng tốt.

Hướng dẫn làm bài tập dạng Multiple choice:
- Cần phải nắm chắc các cấu trúc câu để vận dụng vào làm bài.
- Đọc kỹ câu hỏi để tìm ra “key words” – đây là những từ mang dấu hiệu để giúp các bạn nhận diện kiến thức được kiểm tra là gì.
- Sau khi đã nhận diện được kiến thức, các bạn phải phân tích kỹ câu hỏi, nên dựa vào ngữ pháp để tìm ra đáp án chính xác trước, trong trường hợp sau khi đã dựa vào ngữ pháp vẫn chưa tìm ra được đáp án đúng thì khi đó các bạn cần phải dựa vào nghĩa của câu. Hoặc nếu còn phân vân các câu hỏi khó, các bạn cũng có thể sử dụng phương pháp loại trừ để loại nhanh các phương án sai, từ đó việc chọn những đáp án đúng trở nên dễ dàng hơn.

Những lỗi sai thường gặp trong quá trình làm phần Multiple choice:

+ Không xác định được thì của động từ, thể của động từ (chủ động hoặc bị động) để điền vào chỗ trống trong các dạng bài câu hỏi đuôi, chia thì, sự hoà hợp về thì, rút gọn mệnh đề quan hệ; dùng sai đại từ cho chủ ngữ one/ each/ every.
*Hướng giải quyết: Chú ý vào chủ từ và ngữ cảnh của câu để xác định thì và dạng của động từ cần chia/ cần biến đổi. Nên lưu ý các cách viết tắt có thể gây nhầm lẫn: ‘s # has/is ; ‘d # would/had; bên cạnh đó các chủ ngữ one/ each/ every chỉ sử dụng đại từ one hoặc he, không sử dụng đại từ their (thường gặp trong các câu sửa lỗi sai)...

+ Sai về cách sử dụng giới từ khi làm những câu hỏi nói về vị trí của sự vật/ đồ vật, những câu hỏi kiểm tra kiến thức giới từ trong các cụm cố định (interested in, …).
*Hướng giải quyết: Ôn luyện kĩ các kiến thức về Giới từ trong các Chủ điểm ngữ pháp, không dịch từ tiếng Việt sang tiếng Anh để áp dụng vào bài làm (VD: Đàn chim đang bay trên trời -> The birds are flying on the sky Đây là kiến thức sai, câu đúng là The birds are flying in the sky).

+ Sai về cách sử dụng các từ nối (because, although,…) và các kiến thức về mệnh đề trạng ngữ.
*Hướng giải quyết: Phải biết dịch các từ trong câu và dựa vào ngữ cảnh để chọn từ nối phù hợp, bên cạnh đó phải ôn luyện phần kiến thức Mệnh đề Trạng ngữ thật chắc, tránh trường hợp nhớ nhầm kiến thức (A̶l̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶/̶ ̶T̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶/̶ ̶E̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶+̶ ̶N̶/̶N̶P̶).

+ Không xác định được cụm phrasal verbs, idioms hay collocations phù hợp để điền vào chỗ trống.
*Hướng giải quyết: Vì những kiến thức này rất rộng, nhưng trong bài thi THPTQG thì những dạng bài này thường được ra vào những cụm phổ biến, nhiều người biết. Vậy nên điều cần làm là phải ôn luyện những cụm này thật kĩ (có thể gán vào flashcards, gán vào các ngữ cảnh dễ nhớ), làm bài tập thật nhiều mới có thể nhớ lâu được.

Đây là một số lỗi sai thường gặp khi làm bài tập Multiple Choice trong đề thi THPTQG và một số hướng giải quyết.
