Trước hết mình xin giới thiệu với mọi người topic tài liệu (bao gồm lý thuyết và bài tập có đáp án) nằm trong PJ Chương trình cơ bản của chúng mình: Câu giả định. CÂU GIẢ ĐỊNH
(trích một phần)​

2. Cấu trúc wish và cách sử dụng
a. Sự việc đối lập thực tế ở hiện tại
- Cấu trúc: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + V(qk)
- Ngoài ra có thể thay wish bằng if only theo công thức sau:
If only + S + V(qk)
[Were dùng ở tất cả các ngôi]
Ex. I wish you were here
If only you were here

b. Sự việc đối lập thực tế trong quá khứ
- Cấu trúc: S + wish(es) + (that) + S + had + V (p2)
- Ngoài ra có thể thay wish bằng if only theo công thức sau:
If only + S + had + V (p2)
[Were dùng ở tất cả các ngôi]
Ex. I wish I had come back home
If only I had come back home
Note: Phủ định thì thêm not, đối với quá khứ thì thêm didn’t

3. Cấu trúc would rather và cách sử dụng
a. Sự việc đối lập thực tế ở hiện tại
- S1 + would rather (that) + S2 + V(qk)
- Were được sử dụng ở tất cả các ngôi
Ex. I would rather Rikimaru loved me
b. Sự việc đối lập thực tế ở quá khứ
- S1 + would rather (that) + S2 + had + V(p2)
Ex. Santa would rather Rikimaru had sent him his turtle toy yesterday.
