TOPIC 9: WHAT ONE PLACE IN VIET NAM WOULD YOU
RECOMMEND FOR A TOURIST TO VISIT? WHY?

There are a lot of popular destinations in Viet Nam but the place which I would like to recommend
for a tourist to visit is Sapa.
As you know Sapa is a small mountain town in Lao Cai province. It is located about 350 km
northewest of Ha Noi. There are many interesting things here. So let me talk about Sapa and tell
the beautiful things about it.
Firstly, you will find here the famous Hoang Lien Son range of mountains which includes the
Fancipan, the tallest mountain in Viet Nam. From the top of the mountain, you can look at the
amazing views of green nature below it. You can also do mountain trek going to a historic pagoda
where people usually pray for good luck and fortune. It has a breath-taking sceneries which any
individuals would surely enjoy.
Secondly, this quiet Vietnamese town is home of different ethnic tribal groups and Sapa is famous
with diverse cutures and traditions. Here, you can enjoy eating a lot of delicious and unique of
food. For example, Ca Tam soup, trau gac bep, Lam rice, 7 sticky rice. Sapa also has some ethnics
with beautiful folk costume and tourists can rent it with a good price. Tourists can have picture
taking with the ethnic groups or the local people wearing the same types of clothes giving them a
memorable experience of the colourful culture and tradition of the place and the people.
Moreover, Sapa is also well-known for Ham Rong mountain which is a famous eco-tourist site in
Sapa, Viet Nam that attracts millions of visitors each year. The place is well-known for its beauty
and fascinating and thrilling legends. Legend has it that, once upon a time, the place was a home
of a dragon couple. One time they were suddenly struck by a great flood when they were playing.
All things were sunk under water. The male dragon luckily escaped thanks to his strength, the
female was so exhausted. She fell into the water. Over time, her head turned into the Ham Rong
mountain.
In other, SaPa also has a lot of beautiful places like Muong Hoa valley, Fancipan slings and Cong
Troi with beautiful because of flowers and trees.
Finally, equally interesting that tourists can witness in the place are the terraces. These terraces
are like a spiral road or a ladder with rice plants around it. The terraces are popular around the
world and often metioned on some novels and stories because of its beauty and freshness.
Tourists can experience breathing very fresh air while enjoying the fantastic natural beauty of the
place.

Topic 8: What do you think is the biggest environment problem in Vietnam?
How can we solve the problem?
To be honest, Vietnam is having many problems of the environment now: air pollution, water
pollution, soil pollution. According to me, the air pollution is the worst in Vietnam. Why did I say
that?For example:
- the dirty smoke from the vehicles and factories make the air dirty and get worse day by day.
- People use many nilon bags every moment and burn them when they can’t use it again because the
nilon bags are hard to decay.
For these reasons, I believe that, the air pollution in Vietnam is the worst and It will be even worse
in the future. That’s not the good sign to human’s life.
What will happen if the air pollution goes on?
- Human’s life will be terrible with the problems of breathing.
- The fresh air will be run out and the dirty smoke will be more.
- It’s hard for us to breathe.
How can we solve the problem?
It’s very simple! To solve the problems of the air, we can:
- Plant more trees to keep the air fresh.
- Use less nilon bags and please, please don’t burn them.
- Use bicycles instead of using motorbikes or cars.
To keep the air fresh, there are some things we shouldn’t do:
- Make the air dirty by the smoke and gases.
- Burning mountains or cutting trees.
In a word, our environment is being seriously polluted, that is why we need to know the ways to
protect the environment. We should remember three words : reduce, reuse and recycle.
Protecting the environment is protecting our life.
All of us must act before it’s too late. I hope that the environment will be cleaner in the future.
This is the time we need to do something to improve and protect the air and the environment also.
We can't live without them. I hope through the suggestions that I mentioned above, you guys will
find out your own ways to protect the environment and reduce the air pollution.

Benefits of games:
When it comes to gaming, most people think it is a pointless, time consuming thing. However, in terms of science, then playing games brings other benefits. In addition to entertainment, it also helps people develop and improve thinking. Gaming can only be beneficial if we know how to control and schedule the time for them appropriately. Online games not only have the downside, the full negative effects of many people. However, the above benefits are only available when children play games with a sufficient amount of time, combined with active sports, but if they just sit there playing games all day, there is a disadvantage.
Harm of games:
Game addiction is a state of spending too much time on computer games affecting daily life. Currently, school age game addiction is on the rise and is an issue that concerns social public. There have been so many painful consequences that have happened just because children are addicted to games. Gaming is inherently a healthy entertainment game, but the phenomenon of being passionate about this game, which distracts from learning and causes many harmful consequences, has become a pressing problem among students. Similar to drug addiction, online game addiction is considered by scientists to include one of the types of mental illness. The reason is that playing online games for too long for a long time, it will lead to many harms both in health and spirit, causing psychological and psychological disturbances.Moreover, the mentality of the game player is affected, easily leading to deviant and violent acts such as murder, robbery ... that took place in the past time, but the culprit is very young gamers. And this is really worrying, game addiction can lead to serious decline in learning, neglect to study, and spend time "plowing" the game too much, leading to a loss of mind.
