Wh-word + to-infinitive
Trong lời nói gián tiếp, động từ nguyên mẫu có to (to-infinitive) có thể được dùng sau các từ để hỏi What, when, where, who…(nhưng thường không theo sau why)
Những động từ thường đứng trong cấu trúc này là: tell, show, point out, learn …
