I . write about a friend , real or imaginary, following these guidelines.
- give your friend's name , age , sex and home address, when and where you met him or her
- describe his/her physical characteristics ( height , hair , eyes, face, clothes,...)
- say what you like about him or her

Among the friends I have, Hung is the one I like best. He is seventeen years old. Although we don’t live in the same district, we are now classmates. I met him when we first came to this high school. So we’ve known each other for more than a year. Hung is a good-looking boy. He’s average height with short straight hair and clear, grey eyes. He’s got a square face and looks very energetic and studious. His clothes are not very expensive but always clean and well-ironed. We have been friends just because we nearly have the same tastes and qualities. We are very helpful to each other when having difficulties. Moreover, there is completely mutual trust between us. We are always ready to tell each other our most intimate secrets. Another thing is that Hung has a sense of humour. He is knows as a class joker. He usually makes our class laugh. He’s very polite to older people, generous and helpful to his friends. We usually go to plays and movies together. An unforgettable experience in my life is that he organized a visit to his hometown. We were so excited that we couldn’t sleep well on the night before the departure because it would be a long trip. In the morning we went to field to see farmers working hard but cheerfully. In the afternoon we swam in the river and flied colorful kites in the clear, blue sky. On the way back to the cottage, some of us fell into the canal while crossing a footbridge. We were completely wet and laughed at by the others. We really had a good time and felt happy with the trip. And when time goes by, our friendship becomes deeper and deeper.

I have got a lot of friends but my best friend is ...... , he is fourteen years old.He lives near my house.I know him/her when I was at the age of nine.
We are good friends although we don't go to the same school.He and I meet everyday in the evening after class. We play together and we also help each other when we get trouble in studying.I like him/her because of his/her friendly and sacrifice. My friend is tall,rather thin but handsome (beautiful).He has a short hair and black eyes.
Like me,he enjoys reading books very much. I think he is a close friend and I hope he is a good friend of mine forever.

I feel that my life becomes more meaningful when I have a collection of stamps . i can proudly say that, within 2 years, I had roughly about 2000 stamps from at least 15 countries all over the world . I sometimes search for them in post office, ask members of family, friends, relatives and postmen. In addition, I make pen friends people overseas to exchange stamps with them. I keep them inside a small album . I classify them into categories such as: animals, plants, people, landscape......... I am interested in collecting stamps and I think it should be encouraged. Because it not only broaden knowledge of landscape, animals, trees, and people but also develope creative mind . Both my parents and I feel proud of my collection . I ' ll continue to make collection richer and richer in the future .
