If you were in my shoes/ put yourself in my shoes,..(SHOES)

If it had not been for giving me a (helping) hand, ....(HAND)

Boats are the main means of transport in Venice(MEANS)

4. Nam's teacher congratulated him on having won the game. (Chú ý trong đề có thì hiện tại hoàn thành thì sang tường thuật mình đổi về quá khứ hoàn thành, nhưng do đứng sau giới từ "ON" nên mình thêm "ing vào "have")

5. Pamela encouraged Paul to let his short story be sent/ to send his short story to the magazine.

6. Such is his acting and the audience hang on his every word.

7. Their marrige took place a year later.

8. Teachers think that hard work does you no harm.

9. Many a school leaver does not have a good command of English. (Bạn nhớ cấu trúc MANY + A/ AN N + SINGULAR VERB)

10. They accused me of causing the accident.

11. Never before have I seen someone with such natural talent.

12. Only one/a week later did we realize what had happened.
