Living in a traditional family of three or four generations has both advantages and disadvantages. What do you think of that matter? Write an essay of about 180- 200 words to support your points.
Bài làm
Family is an indispensible part of society. Some people suppose that living in a big family has both disadvantages and advantages. From my point of view, I agree with this statement for following reasons.

I believe that living in an extended family has three main benefits. Firstly, family members can have more supports from each other. For example, grandparents can take care of children while their parents are busy. Secondly, the relationship between each member in a big family is more close than that in a nuclear family. Moreover, the children have a great opportunity to develop their social skills and learn how to tackle with the problems because they socialize with other children in the family.

On the other hand, the drawbacks of a big family also need to be considered. The most and important one is finance. More family members require more living cost, which may place a heavy burden on those who take responsibility for supporting their family. Furthermore, you may have less privacy and less free time. In most cases, you will have to share rooms and sacrifice your time to do something you are told to do. Last but not least, with so many people living under one roof, it is difficult to pay attention to the individual members

In conclusion, the advantages of living in a big family appear to be greater than the disadvantages. There may be less money but members from a tight relationship can help each other when they have tough problems.

Family is an indispensible part of society. Some people firmly believe that living in a big family has both disadvantages and advantages. From my point of view, I agree with this statement for the following reasons. I believe that living in an extended family has three main benefits. Firstly, family members can both provide and receive support from each other. For example, grandparents can take care of the children while their parents are busy. Secondly, the relationship between each member in a big family is tighter than that in a nuclear family. Moreover, the children have a great opportunity to develop their social skills and learn how to tackle problems effectively because they socialize with other children in the family. On the other hand, the drawbacks of a big family are also needed to be considered. The most and important one is finance. More family members have higher living cost, which may place a heavy burden on those who take responsibility in supporting their family. Furthermore, you may have less privacy and less free time. In most cases, you will have to share rooms and sacrifice your time to do something you are told to do. Last but not the least, with so many people living under one roof, it is difficult to give equal attention to all individual members. In conclusion, the advantages of living in a big family appear to be greater than the disadvantages. There may be less money but members from a strong bond can help the members of the family combat and win against tough adversities in life.
