Maya: Good morning, my name is Maia, and welcome back to our second school council meeting.
Ilya: I am Ilya, your school captain and I would love to know more about you guys, who are my team members this year. Please talk about your hobbies and let’s see if we have any in common. Let’s start with James.
James: Hi, I love to travel to countries because I can learn and experience new things.
Lily: Wow yes that is such a hobby that I bet all of us here have it. We should travel together guys.
Sasha: Yes, I mean, we are going to China this school holiday remember? It is the school council camp.
Lily: It is so cool how I am going to experience this amazing place with my teammates. I would definitely try the food. I love Chinese food.
Axel: Am I the only one who is
not as excited as I do not know a single Chinese word. So is it alright if I just don’t go?
Ilya: Of course no. We will learn some Chinese, the basic thing and Axel, I know you’re smart. It’s alright.
Maya: Well other than travel, anyone has other hobbies? Because I love reading books. I can just spend my whole day sitting under my apple tree, eating an orange and read a book.
Sasha: You’re serious? Eating an orange under an apple tree and read a book? I mean, I can’t do that. I love going out and like playing volleyball, netball, and basketball. Even running, that will do.
Ryan: Well I like none of that. I just like to sit all day and play my video games.
Lily: That is such my brother’s hobby. My hobby? I love
to swimming for some reason. I just love it.
I and my friend go to the pool down the road every Wednesday and Friday and I’ve got so much fun.
Sasha: Oh my god we should go together which pool do you go I go to
the the water 24.
Lily: Oh, I go to the Water 24 too, why did I never ever see you? I go with Velisa.
Velisa: Are you serious Sasha? Do you want to go today?
Lily: Maya, do you want to go with us? We should go together and don’t worry, we can go to the new sushi bar after swimming that I saw the other day. It was delicious.
Maya: I guess, I have already finished my homework and our school council work so, why not?
Ryan: Hey boys, so if the girls actually go to the pool, how about we just go to my house. I’ve got the new Xbox.
James: No, I want to go play basketball with Jet at the court today.
Ilya: Yeah that sounds good I’m playing in the Dolphin basketball team and we’ve been winning since last season so I really want to play basketball with you guys, the Jorin team.
Ryan: Fine, I will call my mother, and let’s play the full court.
Jet: Definitely Ryan. Hey James, do you want to call the boys out? We can just meet at the basketball court down the side of the school today at like,
maybe 4.
James: Can you do it? My phone is out of battery. I’ve been calling for my mate to arrange some stuff around.
Ryan: Hey James what do you like to do? A random question but I have never talked to you yet.
James: I love hiking, I’ve been hiking with jet since we were babies. I love to play hockey and go snowboarding too.
Axel. Also,
I and Jet are going to have a hockey match this Thursday, so if any of you want to come, tell me and I’ll give you a ticket. They are really special.
Maya: Can I come, I love to. I’m free this Thursday.
Velisa: I’ll come because of my brother, he is in the other club. So sorry but I’m going to cheer for him.
Jet: Valli, don’t be so cruel to me and Axel.
Velisa: I’m not, it is just he’s in the junior one, so no way he is going to see you, seniors.
James: Nice, just send Axel messages. Are we all sorted?
Lily: Yes, I guess.
Sasha: So, let just start our work!
