Giải thích: Bởi vì mệnh đề phía sau là phủ định (we won't) nên chúng ta không sử dụng Under no circumstances ở mệnh đề trước => Đáp án chính xác là Under the circumstances.
2. They believe that Oliver failed his exam because he was nervous.
=> Oliver’s failure in his exam was put down to the fact that he was nervous.
Giải thích: ta sử dụng phrasal verb put down to (đưa ra lời giải thích cho cái gì đó). Tạm dịch đáp án: Oliver làm bài không tốt là lời giải thích cho việc anh ta lo lắng.
Hoặc có thể viết lại như sau: Oliver's failure in his exam is believed to have resulted from his nervousness. (Cấu trúc bị động với V tường thuật).
3. I think you should tolerant of other people's weaknesses.
=> i think you should make allowances for other people's weaknesses
Giải thích: tolerant of # make allowances for: tha thứ, chiếu cố cho ai đó.

at length có nghĩa là chi tiết (Example: She told me at length about her lover) hoặc có nghĩa là sau cùng (Example: At length, I received my salary).

at the height of có nghĩa là đỉnh cao, cao cấp nhất của cái gì đó (Example: He was at the height of fame when he passed away).

• Tolerant of : khoan dung

considering your position = xem xét hoàn cảnh của bạn (considering sth : xem xét cái gì)
under the circumstance = xem xét tình hình,...(trước khi đưa ra quyết định/ quan điểm/....gì đó)

=>considering your position = under the circumstance
