How come có nghĩa là tại sao (=why), chỉ dùng trong văn nói thôi. How come + S + V......?

-----> Despite my strong disapproval of your behaviour, I’ll help you this time.

chị ơi, câu 5 em nghĩ là "regretted having not seen" bởi vì việc ko nhìn xảy ra trước thời điểm tiếc mà!

He was very sorry that he didn't see Audrey on her trip to London.
–> Em nhìn thấy hai vế đều ở quá khứ (tức là cùng thì) thì chỉ cần regretted + V-ing là OK.

E cũng nghĩ như bạn này, nhưng không biết đúng không nữa :-ss
mặc dù cùng là thì quá khứ nhưng chắc chắn chúng ta biết là hành động đó trước hđ tiếc, và để nhấn mạnh sự tiếc nuối.

Nhưng phải là regretted not having seen chứ chị nhỉ ?

Theo mình câu 1 bạn làm sai rồi vì không thể dùng "I had though" Ở đây bạn đã đảo chủ ngữ nhưng nó không đúng được.
Câu 2 bạn làm câu đầu tiên thì chưa chính xác vì "The bread was cut by the knife" nhưng ở đây ta lại không biết đựơc là ai cắt nó. Câu đề thì người ta cho là "the tallest boy" cắt nên xem lại bài nhá bạn !!!!
