I never really enjoyed any sports that I played at school. I remember when I played football. I always played as a goalkeeper, but I used to get bored, and I just stood there and listened to music. Then when the other side scored, the rest of my team would shout at me. Later on, I tried tennis which wasn't much better. I used to have this habit of dropping the racket each time I went to hit the ball. The worst thing was when I actually won a game for the first time. I was so excited that I ran and tried to jump over the net but caught my foot on it, fell and broke my arm.
My latest attempt to get in shape was when I tried boxing at a local gym. My first fight was unforgettable. I was ready in the ring, and the bell rang for the start of the first half. I was so nervous that I just closed my eyes and swung. Unfortunately, I punched the referee in the head and knocked him out instead of my opponent. Needless to say that was the end of my boxing career and "embarrassed" was the word for how I felt.
Next I decided to take up horse riding with two old school friends. On our first journey, I managed to control my horse. We took some rest after 30 minutes. Then, when I continued my riding, my horse suddenly misbehaved and ran so fast. I fell off the horse and broke my back. I keep on wanting to try out other sports even though I know I'll never be successful.
