each of you has/have a share in the work ????
help me
To my knowledge, "each of you have a share in the work" is grammatically correct, as the "Subject and verb agreement" rules.
Each of/ each one of can be followed by a plural noun or a pronoun. They usually require singular verb, a plural verb is kinda informal, so dont let your self misled by whatever thats following each.
Btw, I'd like to introduce you 5 indefinite pronouns can take both singular verb and plural verb after (depending on particular context): most, any, some and none.
ừm nhưng mà anh thấy trong tình huống này ông sếp đang nói chuyện trực tiếp với 2 nhân viên, each chia theo số ít, mà mỗi 1 người ở đây là 1 "you" - ngôi thứ 2, vì thế nên anh nghĩ phải là you have
còn nếu mà câu như : "each of them" thì mỗi người ở đây là 1 "she" hoặc "he" nên là ngôi thứ 3, dùng has
Do you know why "you" requires a plural verb ?
Cos this pronoun refers for both "person" and "people" in context.
"Each of" doesn't.
Of course each of you has/ is sounds weird some way. It's just because we are used to the improper grammar usage. >
@ anw, make allowances for me if there are any grammatical error on this post.
Hope this h.
