The Beatles(1960-1970) từng là ban nhạc pop và rock thành lập tại Liverpool, nước Anh với bốn thành viên chính thức là John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison và Ringo Starr. Họ đã trở thành một trong những ban nhạc nổi tiếng và được ngưỡng mộ nhất trong lịch sử âm nhạc đại chúng.

Tại Liên hiệp Anh, The Beatles đã cho ra mắt hơn 40 đĩa đơn và album xếp hạng nhất. Sự nghiệp của họ không chỉ thành công trong nội địa, mà còn lan sang rất nhiều quốc gia khác: hãng thâu âm EMI của họ đã thống kê chính xác số lượng băng đĩa của The Beatles phát hành trên khắp thế giới tính tới năm 1985 lên tới con số hơn một tỉ. Tại Hoa Kì, The Beatles được coi là ban nhạc đắt giá nhất mọi thời đại theo thống kê của hiệp hội ngành nghề thu âm Mỹ. Năm 2004, tạp chí Rolling Stone xếp hạng The Beatles đứng thứ nhất trong số 100 nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng nhất mọi thời đại. Tạp chí này nhận định rằng những cống hiến cho sự phát triển của âm nhạc và tầm ảnh hưởng tới văn hóa đại chúng của The Beatles vẫn còn giá trị cho tới tận hiện tại.

The Beatles đã khởi đầu cho “sự xâm lăng của nước Anh” vào nền âm nhạc Mỹ trong giai đoạn giữa thập niên 1960. Mặc dù ban đầu thể loại nhạc mà The Beatles trình diễn là loại nhạc rock and roll và nhạc đồng quê thập niên 1950, nhưng dần dần trường phái âm nhạc của họ chuyển dời sang Tin Pan Alley rồi tới psychedelic rock (một loại nhạc rock mang sắc thái mênh mang được cho là tương tự như cảm giác lâng lâng khi say thuốc phiện). Kiểu cách, y phục và những lời lẽ phát biểu của The Beatles có ảnh hướng rất lớn tới xã hội và nền văn hóa những năm 1960.

em cũng ko biết được, hình như em thẩm thấu âm nhạc hơi đần thì phải, cái bài yesterday bài hát được coi là gắn liền với ban nhạc huyền thoại này thì em thấy chả hay tẹo nào..........hic

mình có full bộ album beat

tớ thích giai đoạn đầu của beat hơn, phần sau chịu ảnh hưởng của john lenon nhiều u uất quá
