Beaverton Canyon residents want to be a fun, urban, pedestrian-friendly area. Currently, the Canyon is a noisy, unshaded, and scary place to walk. Not enough safe routes for pedestrians to reach their destination, and there are few people walking through difficult to access.
In the future, Canyon will be reshaped into an efficient, accessible avenues where the traffic moving smoothly and efficiently with enhancements including:
Wider sidewalks with street trees, café seating, and street lighting
On-street parking (if possible)
New road connecting the north and south to improve accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists and local traffic cars
Improve pedestrian and bicycle traffic through at key
