Cái này không thể nói chính xác là lớp mấy đc, fải tùy vào chương trình học hoặc cách dạy của từng thầy cô thôi. Ví dụ như mình học những cái này từ năm cấp 2, lên cấp 3 vẫn học lại, nâng cao hơn 1 chút thôi

As Bancrid said, despite being homophonous , everyday and every day are not interchangeable.

Everyday is an adj meaning "daily", it's USED in front of the noun to describe something normal or commonplace while every day (two separated words) has a completely difference function. "Every", in this case, is a determiner plus the noun following (day). Every day has the same meaning with "each day". Here're some examples I've taken from some reliable dictionaries.
Everyday :
Everyday event (= regularly event)
Everyday life =( ordinary life/ normal life)


Every day:

I goes to school every day~> Rite
I go to school everyday ~> Grammatical incorect.


Everyday and every day are one of the most confusing word in both verbal and non-verbal communication. Even a experienced teacher can be caught in this kind of mistake.
In fact, in school, just a few students have chance to differentiate these words vividly. The vast majority of students (and also teachers) don't take this seriously. We can randomly "believe" that these words are two of a kind and turn blind eye to the difference between them. Yes, don't be so serious.


So, the mistake we must find out in this sentence is "DOES". We have to use "do" in this context, as the short word of " It is important that he SHOULD DO excercise every day"

This is from my practical viewpoint, hope us to find out the right answer soon.
