It's me, ...! How are you doing? I've receive your mail about your amazing traditional festival, I would love to join in your country's festival some day. Not to mention about Vietnamese festivals. We have many festivals with their different meanings, tradition and food! I would love to tell you about my favorite festival, Tet Holiday!
Lunar New Year is the most important celebration for Vietnamese people.
Tet is a festival which occurs in late January or early February. And Vietnamese people have from 9 to 11 days for Tet holiday.
In Lunar New Year is the time people sit together to eat Chung cake are typical dishes of Tet holiday. Then, everyone have visit relatives and friend, exchange New year's wishes and lucky money for children are indispensible. Vietnamese people usually go to pagoda to pray for health, happiness, lucky and prosperity... or other good things to start a new years.
Traditional customary, Vietnamese people always worship to tribute ancestor. On the altar include: the five fruit tray, chicken and Chung cake.
