Hello everyone!
Let me introduce myself. My name’s Mai Yen Linh. As you know, I’m a student at AIE.
I’m really happy because I was chosen to talk in this Cambridge Certificate Ceremony.
In my thinking, not only AIE is an English education center, but it also is where gives me the first seeing about English as well as making my love with this second language.
In my old opinion, English was just as a foreign language and I had to learn it because of its importance in my future. At that time, when I just graduated the primary school, I still didn’t have anything of English knowledge while almost my friends have learned it. My parents worried about that and found a suitable English center for me. Of course, AIE was their choice.
In the first day, I felt really strange and a little afraid because everything was too different from which I have approached before, such as new teaching methods with modern tools as well as friendly teacher, open-minded friends and so on.
The class is a new environment. It’s very comfortable and great to develop critical thinking through slots. I enjoy every units and activities in class. My teacher helps me recognize that English is very interesting and it’s not too difficult. I improved quickly both the ability of English and the communication skills!
I had a problem with the fee. It was not cheap with financial status of my family. However, it couldn’t become the reason make my study stop because center created opportunity for me and all students who learned well by scholarships in every period.
Especially, AIE also creates some Cambridge contests and organize a lot of International Certification ceremonies for thousands of students every year. That makes us feel really happy because of our final results after a very hard-working time.
Therefore, I don’t know from when, I’ve given an especial love to AIE. And it’s bigger day by day. May be it isn’t really love but I’m sure that it’s a close relationship between us. I always want to say “thank you” to my teacher and the leader of AIE. I’d like to thank them for trying their best to help me as well as other students to study. The time of learning here will become the most wonderful time in my time life.
