MAN: It was the long hours that took it out of me initially. I was shattered after a day’s work.
WOMAN: Well, for me, the thrill of it all, you know, working in a radio studio, kept my energy levels up.
MAN: I can understand that. I guess I just wasn’t used to that kind of timetable.
WOMAN: Yeah, and talk about being thrown in at the deep end.
MAN: You can say that again! There was no gradual phasing into the job for me either. But at least I had plenty of variety.
WOMAN: Oh yeah, a bit too much for me actually. I prefer to do things in depth really, but still …
MAN: One good thing for me was that I had a tremendous mentor who was there whenever I needed her.
WOMAN: Ah, that must have been helpful. Mine was very pleasant but he was away a lot of the time.

Two people are comparing their experiences of a work experience scheme for trainee radio journalists. What point do they agree about?
