Hello everyone. I live in an extended family with my grandpa, my parents, my younger brother Phuc and I. I think each family has its own conflicts, especially between parents and children. It's the generation gap between younger and older age group. They have differences in attitudes, behaviour, etc. And my family also have some ones. Firstly, my parents still treat me like a small kid. Although I know that they are trying to help me discover the surrounding world but sometime I feel it uncomfortable. I wanna be more independent, create my own opinions and make my own decision. Secondly, my parents often complain me about the way I spend my free time. They think that I should spend it in a more useful way such as helping doing housework, playing sports outside, etc because I use laptop to surf the Internet, chat online regulaly, maybe. Finally, I don't like the way the compare me with other children. They say that: "You see him? See her? They are more intelligent than me, help their parents with household chores. And you? Nothing." Sometimes I feel a bit of sad and shy. In short, these conflicts are not too big and open communication can really help to create mutual trust and understading between us. Besides that, let's try to treat others as friends.
