In the spring festival,I join a festival.The festival was celebrated in my school yard.Every students was so exciting.There are three competition:Chung Cake-wrapping,Water-Filling and Card-making.In three competition,I like Chung-wrapping Because four students in class help ourselves to make their Chung Cake.Everyone gathered around school yard So It's busy.They shout that"My team will win".After ten minutes,a lot of team have already finished their cake,a lot of team tried doing your finished product.After more ten minutes,everything have finished.We had to wait five hours while our Chung Cake was being cooked.In the afternoon,we played some games after that everybody gathered in school yard.The Coucil Leader-My school principal reviewed our Chung Cake.She decided to award the grand prize for Super Bird team.I was so happy and I hope that the next festival will be happy and excited.:)>-

Environmental pollution is the status of environmental contamination by chemical, biological ... affect human health, other living organisms.Environmental pollution is caused by humans and human management.
The main types of pollution :
- Air pollution : Smoke and dust discharge chemicals into the atmosphere. Examples of toxic gases as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, cloroflorocacbon substances (CFCs) and nitrous oxide are of industrial waste and vehicle
- Water pollution occurs when surface water flows through the domestic waste, industrial waste water, pollutants in the ground, and groundwater seepage.
- Soil pollution occurs when soil contaminated with toxic chemicals (concentrations exceed normal limits) by the activities of man as active mining, industrial production and use of chemical fertilizers Study or too much pesticide, ... or leaks from underground storage tanks. Most common types of soil contaminants are hydrocarbons, heavy metals, MTBE, herbicides, pesticides, and chlorinated hydrocarbons .
- Radioactive Pollution , Noise pollution , Light Pollution ...

+ For human health : Air pollution can kill many living organisms including humans. Ozone pollution can cause respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, inflammation of the throat, chest pain, breathlessness. Water pollution causes approximately 14,000 deaths per day, mainly by eating contaminated with untreated water. Chemicals and heavy metals contamination in food and drink can cause cancer. Oil spills can cause itching blisters. Noise pollution causes hearing loss, hypertension, depression, and insomnia., causing serious consequences .
+ For ecosystem :
- Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides cause acid rain can reduce soil pH.
- Contaminated land may become barren, not suitable for crops. This will affect other living organisms in food webs.
- Smoke and fog reduce sunlight that plants receive to make the process of photosynthesis.
- Invasive species that can compete and occupied habitat for endangered native species, thus reducing biodiversity.
CO2 generated from the factories and passing vehicles also increases the greenhouse effect. Earth on a heating up. Gradually destroying the natural resort where it is available.
Solutions to limit environmental pollution :.

She is the wind of human life. "
In this life, the one I love most is my mother. She's tall and rather thin. She's a warm kindly person with an oval face and a long-silky hair. She used to staying up late and getting up early to earn money and take care of us. She is strict thanks to that we are educated into a good person. I will try to study well to satisfy my mother's faith.

New Year is the time when a new calendar year begins and the year count is incremented. According to Gregorian calendar, this festival falls on the first January each year. People start the arrangement to celebrate this festival about one week prior to the 1st January. On the 31st night, people gather together, eat western foods and sometimes the traditional foods, make prayer for the prosperity of for the New Year and stay awake till late night to enjoy the night. This is an important festival for us. In our tradition, we start the year with the hope of eliminating the bitterness and failure of the past year and start a fresh year with the hope of fortune and happiness.

Air pollution in Hanoi​

It seems that the air in some big cities is seriously polluted. And, Hanoi is a example of the serious air pollution.

One of the major sources of air pollution in Hanoi is the internal-combustion engine, which doesn’t burn all fuel. In addition to emitting carbon dioxide and various oxides of nitrogen, it gives off incompletely burned wasted products. Chemical pollutants such as chlorofluorocarbon, often used in air conditioners, also pose a serious environmental threat. When these pollutants reach the stratosphere, they destroy the natural ozone layer that acts as an umbrella to shield the earth from ultraviolet radiation.

Therefore, the government should set up standard for emission control of vehicles for registration. All new vehicles are required to conform to the emission control regulation. A daily information of air pollution level in Hanoi should also be developed and provided. This will provide timely information in the event of high pollution days, and raise awareness on the environment issue.

The air pollution problem in Hanoi is now approaching those of larger cities in the region. Unless a focused and integrated plan is implemented, the situation of air pollution here will be getting worse and harder to contain in the future.

Noise pollution​

Nowadays, noise pollution is becoming a serious problem in society. However, it has not appropriated level of consideration yet. Noise pollution is increasingly indifferent to abuses by many people, although its influence in our lives is extremely dangerous. Big cities recieve most influence by noise-polluted. There are many causes of seriously noise pollution in big cities. But mostly because three main factors: traffic, manufacturing industry and human activities.

First of all, traffic become the biggest threat increases the intensity of noise pollution. With the increase of transport, traffic congestion in big cities become more severe, the noise coming from the engine is also increasing. Not only that, car horn’s honk cause noise pollution, too.

Next, presence of the manufacturing industry, the use of machinery is considered indispensable. However, due to the short of sense of manufacturer and some industrial zones cause noise pollution level is increasing. Big cities also have many manufactering plants and industrial zones.

Finally, the human activities in big cities are very abundant and complicate that contribute to noise pollution. The turning on loudly players also impact negatively on hearing of peaple, especially the discos or bars. This is a factor of noise pollution that is considered the most difficult handle and only rely on people sense mainly.

In coclusion, all those reasons explain why most big cities are noise-polluted. Noise effect negatively on hearing and cause sleep disorders as well human cardiovascular disease. Hope that in the future, people would concern about stainded to minimize noise.

Festival​

Halloween is my favorite holiday because of the many fantasy aspects that surround it, the fun events that can be carried out, and the joy on children's faces as they trick or treat. Halloween offers a day of escape, fantasy and elation. Even as an adult, I love the idea of dressing up and becoming someone else, if just for one night. The idea of fantasy, where anything goes, is what sparks my interest,. Being able to create a character that is not only believeable, but one that I embody, brings me a sense of accomplishment, as I go through the process. I also have great memories from my childhood, of my mother helping me to decide which character I was to be. I now take that one step further, and look for characters that I know I can fit into. Whether I buy my costume, or come up with it on my own, does not really matter, it is the character and how you embody it, on that night, that becomes special.

Once you are all dressed up, it is where you go, that really gets fun. Whether it is a party, haunted house, or out sightseeing the coolest decorated houses on the block, there is fun to be had, while in costume. Some take their decorating to a new level, making it realistic and scary, presenting the viewing public with awe inspiring creativity. In itself, it is an event, something to remember. Haunted houses abound, trying to out do one another in scaring the viewers better than the last one. With the advent of special effects, they get extremely realistic in their approach, and for someone who likes a thrill, this is the best thing out there. And then there are the parties, and costume contests, that make working on your costume really hard, something to remember.

Depending on where a party is held, often times, there will be costume contests, and winning one gives you bragging rights for the year. Even if there is no prize offered, just to be able to say that you were the most creative, is a prize in itself. Then there is the food and drinks, that for some inventive people, are both spooky and fun to eat. Seeing how creative a host can be, while offering a myriad of eerie looking foods, is a lot of fun. I also love the decorations that some party host (esses) are able to come up with. Looking around to see a normal home, turned upside down with spider webs, witches hats, skeletons in unexpected places, makes walking around the party, that much more fun. You never know when someone is going to jump out at you, and make you drop your drink or your plate, because you were not expecting it.

However, the most fun that I have, is in watching the faces of the children I know, as they trick or treat. Seeing the excitement, as each door is opened, and a person brings out a treat of candy for them, is so much fun. Watching a child get dressed up to head out, as they realize that they are going to get candy and see some really cool homes, can bring the simplest of joys. This holiday, really, is for them. Having them switch their mind three, four and five times, on what costume they want to wear; hearing them talk about all the candy they are going to get, and how cool that house on the block was last year, what they think they might see this year, brings a lightness to the heart. Knowing that the exhaustion at the end of the night, was in creating a special memory for them, makes it all worth it.

It is for these reasons, that I find Halloween is my favorite holiday. There is so much to be said for a day that can bring fantasy to life, offer fun and companionship through events, and bring children a happiness for something so simple, candy, that makes it fun and exhilerating. Halloween, will always be my favorite holiday, for the joy it brings.

FESTIVAL
Together with Bai Dinh and Yen Tu Pagoda Festival, Huong Pagoda Festival is among the greatest Buddhist festival in northern part of Vietnam. Huong Pagoda Festival plays an important role in the spiritual life of Vietnamese people in general and Vietnamese Buddhists in particular.
Huong Pagoda is located in My Duc District, 70 kilometers away from Hanoi to the south. This festival lasts for three months from the first to the third month in Lunar Calendar. In fact, the official opening day for the festival is on the 6th day of the first Lunar month.

According to folklore, once upon a time, there was a beautiful and kind-hearted princess named Dieu Thien—the third daughter of King Dieu Trang, Huong Lam Kingdom. However, at the age of getting married, the prince rejected all proposals from other countries and insisted on leading a religious life. The King got very angry and locked her into the backyard of his palace. As the princess’s decision was unchanged, King Dieu Trang sent her to Bach Tuoc pagoda where she went through a wide range of arduous works; still, she completed them all. Getting more and more displeased, the King even set Bach Tuoc Pagoda on fire and jailed the princess into the forbidden palace. However, Princess Dieu Thien was so determined that she overcame all of the above challenges and difficulties. At the end, the King decided to execute his stubborn daughter. Right when Dieu Thien was escorted to the scaffold, Huong Tich Mountain God came in the form of a tiger and saved her.

The princess wake up in the forest and saw a handsome young man approaching her. The man eagerly sent Dieu Thien chatty pick up lines; however, she kept on turning him down. Surprisingly, the guy turned out to be Buddha. He told the princess to practice Buddhist in Huong Tich Cave. After 9 years of ascetic Buddhist practice, the princess got enlightened. She saved the country from the war, protected her parents and sisters from devils. From then on, she was canonized as Goddess of Mercy (Quan Am) and was widely worshipped throughout the country.

As other festivals in Vietnam, Huong Pagoda Festival is also divided into two parts: The ceremonies and the entertaining activities. Ceremonial rituals consist of incense offering procession and Zen ceremony in which Monks and Buddhists offer incense, flowers, candles and fruits. During the ceremony, there are two monks performing beautiful and flexible dances. On the other hand, entertaining activities include enjoying boat cruise along Yen Stream for watching picturesque scenery, climbing mountain and exploring holy caves. It is believed that climbing up the top of Huong Tich Mountain will bring you fulfillment and great success in life.

Coming to Huong Pagoda Festival, tourists have chance to taste three famous delicacies which are bamboo shoot, Sang vegetables and grinding roots. Coming at the beginning of Huong Pagoda Festival, tourists will be overwhelmed by the white color of apricot flowers covering the entire area of Huong Son mountain; and at the end of festival, you will have chance to taste the irresistibly fresh flavor of apricot juice.

Overall, Huong pagoda festival is a traditional and imbued national identity where people are oriented towards Truth, Beauty, and Goodness
