Thực ra mình có đổi từ đâu, "to be able to" là phân từ II của "can" mà! Mình thấy nhiều sách của cả VN lẫn nước ngoài đều ghi như vậy.

Đây là câu ước thay đổi một điều trong quá khứ nên mệnh đề đứng sau "wish" phải ở thì quá khứ hoàn thành.
