Sam was a thirty-three-year-old teacher. He went to his (1) in 1997 complaining of tirednes, diarrhea, and weight loss. His doctor examined himi and found mild (2) and swollen lymph glands but not other abnormality. The doctor did several blood tests, which were normal, but he did not do an HIV (3). In 2002, Sam developed a red, raised rash on (5) right leg. He went to a venereologist, who diagnosed Kaposi's sacroma- a skin cancer which is common in patient with AIDS. The (6) did a blood test for HIV, which was positive. A month later, sam's sight began (7) fade. He also developed a very a severe chest infection. He quickly became very thin and weak, and he was almost blind. Sam did not want to go into a hospital, (8)his doctor and community nurse visited him at home everyday to give him injections of antibiotic drugs. Sam knew (9) was going to die soon, and became depressed.he joined an HIV support group where he could talk about his problem and (10) new friends.
