I took a day trip of Golden Tours Mountain Retreat because of the attractiveness of the promotional content of that trip. The trip includes: travel by luxury air-conditioned coach, hiking with our experienced guide, knowledgeable guide, then picnic lunch beside Lake Rothmere and dinner at famous local restaurant and the hours are from 9am to 10pm. It sounded appealing so I decided to join even though it costs £60 for an adult, £40 for a child is quite expensive. I am extremely disappointed that what I experienced was almost completely different from advertised. The tour guide is not as experienced as advertised, talking about the different sightseeing areas is not fluent, answering the questions we ask is quite clumsy and stammering without having the attitude of a guide profession. In fact, I didn't get to experience all of those activities, the time was only 1/2 of the actual time, so I want a refund.
