Ever since Kenzo was a small child, he ... (has traveled/ is traveling/ had traveled/ will travel) ... a lot. In fact, he (was/ has been/ is/ will be) only two years old when he first (has flown/ flew/ had flown/ flies) to the Japan. His mother (has been/is) Japanese and his father [is] American. Kenzo's dad first (meets/ was meeting/ has met/ met) his mom in Tokyo after he (has lived/ has been living/ is living/ had been living) there for five years as an English teacher. They met one day while Kenzo's dad (is reading/ was reading/ reading/ has been reading) a book in a coffee shop and his mom (will sit/ sits/sat/ has sat) down beside him. A couple years later, they got married and (moving/ have moved/ are going to move/ moved) to Germany, where Kenzo was born. Later, they moved to Mexico and then New York and then France. His parents still (living/ live/ were living/ had lived) in France today, but Kenzo (living/ lives/ had lived/ was living) in New York now. He (working/ works/ work) for a large international company.
Kenzo (had traveled/ travel/ travels/ traveling) all the time, both for work and for fun. Right now, he (is going to be visiting/ is visiting/ was visiting/ had visited) his parents in France. He (will visit/ had visited/ has been visiting/ visits) them for the past few weeks. He really (enjoying/ enjoys/ was enjoying/ enjoy) living in New York, but he also loves visiting his parents at least two or three times a year.
This year he (fly/ had been flying/ has flown/ has flew) over 50,000 miles for his job. He (is working/ was work/ has been working/ works) for Jackson & Co. for almost two years now. He’s pretty sure that (he had worked/ he works/ he's worked/ he'll be working) for them next year as well. His job (requires/ is require/ requiring/ require) a lot of travel. By the end of this year, (he had been traveling/ he'll have traveled/ he's traveling/ he had traveled) over 100,000 miles. His next journey (has been/ is being/ will be/ had been) to Australia. He really (doesn't like/ don't like/ hadn't liked/ isn't liking) going to Australia because it is so far away. By the time he arrives in Sydney, he'll (sits/ going to sit/ have been sitting/ sit) on an airplane for over 18 hours!
Kenzo (was talk/ was talking/ talks/ is talking) with his parents earlier this evening when his girlfriend from New York (is calling/ has called/ will call/ called) to let him know that Jackson & Co. just (announced/ announcing/ announce) they were going to merge with a company in Australia. The two companies (negotiate/ will negotiate/ are negotiating/ had been negotiating) for the past month, so it (not/ hasn't/ wasn't/ wasn't being) really much of a surprise. Of course, this means that Kenzo has to catch the next plane back to New York. He'll (be meeting/ meeting/ be meet/ meets) with his boss at this time tomorrow.
