$= \frac{x^6( x+1) + x^4( x+1) + x^2 ( x+1) + (x+1)}{(x+1)(x-1)}$

$= \frac{( x+1)(x^6+x^4+x^2+1)}{(x+1)(x-1)}$

$= \frac{x^6+x^4+x^2+1}{x-1}$

$= \frac{x^4(x^2+1)+(x^2+1)}{x-1}$

$= \frac{(x^2+1)(x^4+1))}{x-1}$
