1. Thu gọn:
A = x^2 - |(x - 2)(x + 1)|


2. Cho x^2 + y^2 = 5, xy = 2. Tính x + y, x^3 + y^3

Bài 2:
Ta có:
[TEX] (x+y)^2=x^2+y^2+2xy= 5+4=9 \Rightarrow x+y= 3 \ or \ x+y=-3.[/TEX]
[TEX]TH1: x+y=3. \Rightarrow x^3+y^3= (x+y)(x^2+y^2-xy)= 3.(5-2)=9. [/TEX]
[TEX] TH2: x+y=-3. \Rightarrow (x^3+y^3)= (x+y)(x^2+y^2-xy)=-3. 3=-9.[/TEX]
Bài 1:
Xét 2TH:
[TEX]TH1: (x-2)(x+1) \geq 0 \Rightarrow A= x^2- (x-2)(x+1)=...[/TEX]
[TEX] TH2: (x-2)(x+1) <0 \Rightarrow A= x^2+(x-2)(x+1)=...[/TEX]

TH1: [TEX]x \geq 2...hoac...x \leq -1 \Rightarrow A = x^2 - x^2 + x + 2 = x + 2[/TEX]
TH2: [TEX]- 1 \leqx\leq2 \Rightarrow x^2 + x^2 - x - 2 = 2x^2 - x - 2 [/TEX]
2. [TEX]x^2 + y^2 = 5 \Rightarrow x^2 + y^2 + 2xy = 5 + 4 = 9\Rightarrow (x + y)^2 = 9\Rightarrow x + y = - 3 ...hoac...3[/TEX]
[TEX]x^3 + y^3 = (x + y)(x^2 + y^2 - xy)[/TEX]\Rightarrow thay vào mà tính :D
