thể bị động có 3 dạng chính:

1. dạng động từ có 2 tân ngữ
Ex: My friend gave me a new pen
-> I was given a new pen by my friend
or A new pen was given to me by my friend
- thông th`g tân ngữ gián tiếp đc dug` làm chủ từ bị động
Note: 1 số động từ như: explain, describe , introduce
tân ngữ trực tiếp làm chủ từ

Ex: The teacher explained the matter to the students
->The matter was explained to the students by the teacher

- Chủ từ là từ phủ định, khi đổi sag bị động , chug' ta viết động từ bị động ở thể phủ định
Ex: Nobody reads this book
-> This book isn't read

2. Cấu trúc : It is said that - He is said
- Đây là cấu trúc đặc biệt of dạng thụ động khi ta đổi câu chủ động " people say - thay say" sag câu thụ động & co' nghĩa là :' ng` ta noi' rằng"
Ex: They say David copperfield is diguised autobio graphy of dickens
-> It is said David copperfield is diguised autobio graphy of dickens

Cấu trúc : Thay say = it is said & giữ nguyên cấu trúc các phần sau or ta dug` chủ ngữ of phần sau + is said thy` động từ fai chuyển sag dag nguyên mẫu

- Một số động từ có thể dug` cấu trúc này : thought, believed, considered, known, expected, alleged, understood
- Đặc biệt : It is supposed to ... = It is said to
