Tet nguyen dan is a vietnamese traditional festival which takes place
In the firtst month of the lunar calender.during tet days people are busy with buying thinhgs ,preparing
traditional foods,decorating their house.these items which each family must prepair are “banh trung”,flowers, ancoholic and soft drink.On new year’s eve people make offerings to their ancestor or go out to pick young leaves for luck.A special custom called”xong nha” ofen done by the last people to come home.During the new year’s first three day vietnamese visit their relatives,friends,neighbours,and graves of ancestor.vietnameses ofen say best wishes such as:”an khang thinh vuong”, “tan tai tan loc” to each other with the hope that everyone will begin a new year with happiness and luck.children ofen receive “li xi” covered in red evelopes.” I love tet nguyen dan”
