What did you do when you had a headache ?
-> I often went to the drugstore to buy some medicine.
Or:
-> I often went to see the doctor.

What did you do when you had a headache ?
Answer: When I had a headache , I often told my mother , then she went to the drugstore to buy some medicine .After drinking some medicine , I took a break ...if I didn't feel better , I would go to see the doctor
