THE ADVANTAGES OF STUDYING IN THE SCHOOL FOR THE GIFTED
Education undoubtedly has a great value to our society and any person as well. Itis the acquisition of knowledge and abilities which forms the development of one'scharacter and mental powers by systematic training and instruction . Thus, as animportant part of education system ,school also plays an essential role in our dailylives. There are many kinds of school nowadays but in my point of view, studyingin the school for the gifted without doubt brings about many advantages.First and foremost, the school for the gifted is a specialized one for thosestudents who show their exceptional talents in academic fields such as basicsciences, social science and languages with a mission is to offer the best programsfor its students to achieve excellence in their talented field the dawn of humancivilization. Consequently, being a member of this school means that student will be educated in a high-standard-educating environment where all the students andteachers are friendly, confident, dedicated and preeminent. Simultaneously, byattending the school for the gifted , students are certainly affected by many greatqualities of friends, teachers so they learn a lot from them and are getting betterand better everyday. According to a student who asked not to be named, She said:

Second, unlike most schools, that the school for the gifted is heavily investedwith a large amount of money in the useful facilities and up-to-date equipment forteaching and studying leads to such a marked improvement in the ability toacquire knowledge and use it in concrete situations. For instance, studyingchemistry in the modern laboratory fitted with all necessary equipment to carry outan experiment will give students a lively observation rather than a lot of dryinformation in a textbook. This by all means has a deep significance to optimizetheir studies and helps them to go off the old methods with such a great deal ofrigid theory. Hence, nowhere can students study in such a convenient and effectiveenvironment as the school for the gifted.Futhermore, not only is famous for its high-qualified education but the school forthe gifted is aslo regarded as a big source of opportunity. Should students attendthis school, they will be offered many chances of taking part in many competitions
in both domestic and international whose purpose is to help students to makefriend, exchange culture and the most important assess their abilities . Inaddition , its students always recieve special favours and appreciation fromrecruiters, which contributes to the probability of winning a scholarship or gettinga job as well. Therefore, there is no denial that this kind of school opens up
limitless prospects of development for man’s talents and intellect.
On the other hands, nowadays, there are many parents who are concerned aboutwhether they should let their children attend the school for the gifted or not
although they’ve known for long that it is not easy to pass the entrance
examination. This is mainly due to the pressure that parents think their children aresupposed to deal with when studying at this kind of school. However, with a more positive outlook, pressure is not only a burden but it is aslo a wonderful catalyst forthem to put more effort into their studies. In other words, peer pressure and socialnorms may turn into powerful motivation that makes students do their best in ordernot to be left behind and dropped out of the race. Consequently, staying under pressure is so effective a way for students to make progress and be more mature.In conclusion, viewed from different angles, studying in the school for the giftedcan offer us many great benefits, which is worth for parents and children to takeinto account when making decision about the school to attend. And it goes withoutsaying that rights always go hand-in-hand with reponsibilities so students studyingat this kind of school should study hard to prove the fact that it is not by acidentthey gain many benefits from the school where they study.

That was a memorial trip
That was an auspicious day - my trip to Manali in Himachal Pradesh. I am a person who loves to travel long distances but while travelling to Manali I fell asleep. My mom woke me up to say we had reached. The moment I opened my eyes I was amazed - blue skies, white mountains, green land. It was very cold too. We stayed in a lodge near the river Beas. From the window of my room I was able to see the Rohtang pass. It was fully covered with snow. I haven't seen such a beautiful mountain ever before.
The very next day I was there playing in the snow. The guide said we won't be allowed on the pass during winter because the roads to Rohtang would be fully covered with snow. I was wondering how cold it would be in winter. For the first time I did some skiing and played a lot with the snow. My sister did paragliding, etc.
Next day I went to Kullu, a place near Manali. There I went for rafting on the Beas. It was awesome. The water was ice cold and fast flowing. Kullu is famous for its shawls. I too bought one for my granny.
There is a road called mall road in Manali, where both the sides of the roads are full of shops. We could see different types of clothes, eatables, shoes, bags, etc. Every thing was extraordinary.
I also went to some other places like museums, Hadimba temple, parks etc.
There are also many other temples. In one there were many monkeys and I was scared.
I really enjoyed it a lot there. After three days bliss, we planned to go back home. I was not able to forget Manali, her climate, and specially the river Beas whose noise was heard day and night without any rest.
We all must have heard a proverb " East or west home is the best " but if you have once travelled to Manali, then this proverb makes no sense to you as Manali is like heaven, a place where you get lost in its beauty.
My Most Memorable Trip
My country is Myanmar. It is one of the countries is South-East Asia. It is important neighboring countries are China, India, Laos, and Thailand. There are many interesting and beautiful places all over the world. I had a most memorable trip in two years ago. I went to a range of hills known as Kayik –Ti-Yo, the ancient city of Bagan and Pyin Oo Lwin.
First of all, we had t scramble up hill and down dale over a distance of seven and a half miles. It was a wonderful journey through shady woodlands and there were rippling streams all along the way. It really is absolutely stunning. Also, we saw food stalls and various traditional shops in the pagoda ground. As soon as we reached the pagoda, we bought some flowers and candles, and went up the pagoda to offer them. After, saying prayers, we donated some amount of money and went round the pagoda. Both the pagoda and the pagoda ground were lit with colorful lights. Having spent a few days at Bagan, we went to our final destination.
Finally, our final journey from Bagan to Pyin Oo Lwin is refreshing memorable trip. It take 10 hour drive by car from Bagan. Pyin Oo Lwin is a famous hill station in Myanmar. It has a cool and pleasant climate. Along the way, we saw breathtaking views and the most enchanting sights in the world. The whole area of Pyin Oo Lwin is covered with silvery oak and tall beautiful pine trees. On the slopes of the hills, plantation of Coffee, Strawberry and Pineapple are many. So most of the tourists, visiting Bagan, go up to Pyin Oo Lwin for a night stop where they find a cool night similar to that of European countries.
In conclusion, our return journey might be less exciting bit it was sheer joy to be alive. We sang and danced all the way enjoying the beautiful scenery on either side o

Here we are, packing in the nice, warm, mellow sun. The sweet-scented flowers of May are blooming. The huge amount of supplies goes into the back of our big, white van. Everyone’s face has a sincerely eager smile. I look at my mom’s smile, and I can swear that it’s as open as a crocodile’s. We’re taking a family trip down to Florida.
All of us hop into the big, white van. “We’re going to Florida” is just about the only thing I can hear anyone saying for the whole trip.
The trip is going to take forever! The van is all cramped and sweaty. I’m tossing and turning all the time. The trip is going to take all day, all night, and then some!

Sweat is dripping off everyone like a waterfall.
The van is finally fixed, and we can finally avoid the sweltering heat in the comfort of air conditioning. We can finally head back to our hotel in Florida. We set off in our fan and I shortly fall asleep.
I awake a few hours later confused. “Is it Tuesday already?” I ask.
“No Buddy, it’s still Monday,” replies my mom.
“Oh, Okay.”
At last, we’re in our hotel ready to relax. We decide what parks we are going to go to.
Well, now that the next day has come, we decide just to go to Gator Land. There were some really big reptiles there. I thought it was really cool. All of us spent the rest of the day walking around looking at reptiles and other animals.
Spencer, one of my younger brothers, volunteers to hold a parrot. The parrot is red and white with a kind of brushed back head. However, when Spencer holds him, the parrot bites him! This moment is something that I’m going to remember.
The trip to Gator Land was very fun. We head back to the hotel and get ready for the next day in Florida.
Our family also decides to take a trip to a water park called Wet n’ Wild. It has a whole bunch of really cool water rides for you to go on.

I still remember the first trip to the beach that I took with my close friends. Two years ago, my friends and I went to Tamarindo Beach to rest and enjoy our vacation together. We had been planning this trip for two weeks. During these two weeks we made hotel reservations and bought food and beverages for the trip. Finally, one Friday we left at 6 a.m. to Tamarindo and arrived around 10 a.m.. As soon as we arrived to the hotel, we started to drink at the bar in the swimming pool. A few hours later we were drunk, so we decided to go to the beach. We played a funny soccer game to down the level of alcohol in our blood. It was a funny experience because nobody was able to kick the ball and almost everybody was sick. After the game, we watched the sunset together, and we told stories about our lives and shared our points of view about the future. Then we returned to the hotel, and we ate some snacks. Moreover, we drink another beers and swam in the pool until it got late. Around 12 p.m. we decided to play some games where the loser had to take some shots. A lot of times, I was the loser and therefore I did not remember what else happened during that crazy night. The next morning we took a bicycle ride to some close beaches. I remember vividly the ride to Conchal Beach since it was so pretty. For that reason, we decided to stayed there the rest of the day and enjoy the breathtaking views of this paradise beach. After this exhausting trip to Conchal, we returned to our hotel. The next day, very early, we returned to San José. That was my first and unforgettable trip with my friends.
