Dear Stephanie,
I’m sorry for not writting to you for a long time. May you have an enjoyable Mother’s day.
Last month, I had an interesting trip to Halong with my family. On Sunday, we got up early so as to get there. It was a sunny and beautiful morning, so we were very happy. At 8.00 am, we arrived Halong. First, we hired a boat then we traveled around the bay. It was the first time I have been to the sea. The sun was shinning and the sky was blue there. Especially, the water was so pure that I saw colorful fish swimming around our boat. After that, we visited many famous caves and limestone islands, such as: Dau Go cave, Sung Sot cave, Bai Tho mount,.. They were so magnificent that I couldn’t stop looking them. At 11.30 am, we ate lunch at a restaurant called “Hoang Gia”. It only severs sea food, so we ate many sea food, such as: fish, crab, shrimp, jellyfish,..It tastes quite delicious. In the afternoon, we went to the beach. That beach is a crowded place. Some people flew their kites, some sunbathed, some read books,..My parents like swimming, so they swam but I didn’t. I prefer to collect snail shells in the sand beach. When I was collecting, I met some foreign tourists. Luckily, they spoke quite slowly and I could understand all things. I also took some photos with them. At 5.00 pm, my mother and I went to a market. We bought some souvenirs for our relatives and friends (and also for you ^^). Finally, we went home at 6.00 pm.
It’s such a wonderful trip. I like the beach best because it was very beautiful.
