There are 2 types of knowledge gained from books. They are practical knowledge and theoretic knowledge. Personally, practical knowledge is more important than theoretic knowledge. One reason is that practical knowledge is always necessary in daily life. It's from experience in our life. The way to do the cooking or repairing household appliances ... are practical knowledge. You might have been taught by someone or find it by yourself, and maybe books can't tell you about it. Another reason that I think practical knowledge is more important than theoretic knowledge is some theoretic knowledge is impractical. For example, you are used to be taught advanced mathematics like factoring formulas at school. However, you can just use it in doing exercises. In your daily life, it isn't be used usually. In short, practical knowledge is more useful for us than theoretic knowledge. Nowadays, most of students usually have to spend time learning theoretic knowledge, so they are always depending on their parents. Because I want to live independently, I think practical knowledge is more important
