Last summer, my family had an amazing picnic in an eco-park.
We got up early to prepare for the trip. My younger sister and I helped our mother pack up some delicious food and fruit while my father checked the car. At 6 a.m. we departed, and 2 hours later we reached our destination which is 50 km away from Hanoi. After choosing an ideal place in deep shadow, we put down blankets to rest. Lying on my back, I enjoyed delightful scenery, pure air and beautiful sounds of country birds. Surprisingly, while we were eating our picnic lunch, some lovely little birds swooped down. We fed those friendly birds with bread and watermelon. After meal, we sang aloud, laughed happily and took some photos. Early in the afternoon, we went fishing in a small river nearby. I was extremely excited as that was the first time I have tried fishing. Three hours of fishing passed by, and we were all happy with our total catch of eight fish. At nearly 5 p.m. we hurriedly gathered things to come back home.
For the whole family, the outing was great fun.
