Thể bốn 2n + 2 = 22
kỳ trung gian NST nhân đôi tao ra 22 NST kép
Kỳ sau : mỗi NST kép phân ly tạo ra 2 NST đơn
Vậy số lượng NST đơn trong 1 tế bào của thể 4 đang ở kì sau của quá trình nguyên phân là
22 x 2 = 44

Nếu chỉ xét cặp số 3 thì TB sinh tinh trên sẽ chỉ có 2 loại giao tử , 1 loại mang NST số 3 không đột biến và 1 loại mang NST số 3 bị đột biến, tương tự với cặp NST số 5.
Nếu xét đồng thời 2 cặp số 3 và số 5 sẽ cho 2^2 = 4 loại giao tử trong đó tỉ lệ loại giao tử không mang nhiễm sắc thể đột biến trong tổng số giao tử là 1/4.
