Ai giảng cho mình cấu trúc Prefer - Would Rather - Like với

***-like + V-ing (sở thick lâu dài)
-like + to V (thick bất chợt)
***Would rather + V(qk)/ to V (hình như là vậy cũng ko chắc vs cái này)

Would rather và prefer có nghĩa giống nhưng văn phạm thì khác, Would rather thì phải có một động từ theo sau còn prefer có hay k cũng đc

S + prefer V-img + to + V-ing
S + prefer Smt + to + Smt
* Would rather
S + would rather V + than + V
1. S + would rather + V ( bare infinitive) (hiện tại)
EX: Mary would rather go to class yesterday than today
2. S + would rather + have + PII (quá khứ)
EX: Mary would rather have gone to class yesterday than today
3.S1+ Would rather that+ S2 + V (bare - infinitive) - Hiện tại giả định
Ex: I'd rather that he take this train
4. S1+ Would rather that + S2 + V(simple past) - Hiện tại trái với sự thật
Ex: Jane'd rather that it were winter now
(It's not winter now)
5. S1 + Would rather that + S2+ V(past perfect) - Quá khứ trái với sự thật
Ex: Jill'd rather that John had gone to class yesterday (John didn't go to class yesterday)

Bổ sung cấu trúc riêng của "prefer"

(*) "prefer" khi đứng 1 mình có cấu trúc: prefer to do sth

(*) Đôi khi ng`ta dùng "would prefer" với ý nghĩa nhấn mạnh : would prefer to do sth rather than to do sth
