Bài 1:Cho a+b=10 và ab=4. Không tính a và b, hãy tính giá trị biểu thức a- b?

Đặt :

$A = a-b$

$\Rightarrow A^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab$

$\Leftrightarrow A^2 = (a+b)^2 - 4ab$

$\Rightarrow A^2 = 10^2 - 4.4 = 84$

$\Rightarrow A=\pm\sqrt{84}$

Cho x > y >0 và 12(x^2 +y^2)= 25xy. Tính N=\frac{x+y}{x-y}

$N = \dfrac{x+y}{x-y}$

$\Rightarrow N^2 = \dfrac{x^2 + 2xy + y^2}{x^2 - 2xy + y^2}$

$\Leftrightarrow N^2 = \dfrac{12x^2 + 24xy + 12y^2}{12x^2 - 24xy + 12y^2}$

$\Rightarrow N^2 = \dfrac{49xy}{xy} = 49$

$\Rightarrow N = \pm 7 $
