Đáp án câu này là could, mình từng gặp rồi. "Sould" là bạn ấy đánh máy sai, nhưng đề đúng không phải là "would" đâu, mà là "should".

Câu này phải là could read và couldn't speak chứ nhỉ? Mệnh đề thời gian là "When I first went to England" mà?

Mình nghĩ dùng has to ở đây sẽ ổn hơn. Vì must thường mang tính chất cá nhân hơn là của người khác như have to. Nếu không chắc chắn giữa cả hai phương án thì nên dùng have to thay cho must.
