Đặt [imath]\cos 36 = t (0<t<1)[/imath]
Ta có: [imath]16t^5 -20t^3 +5t =\cos (180) = -1[/imath]
[imath]\Leftrightarrow (t+1)( 4t^2 -2t-1)^2=0[/imath]
Mà [imath]0<t<1[/imath]
[imath]\Leftrightarrow t = \dfrac{\sqrt{5}+1}{4}[/imath]
[imath]\Rightarrow \cos 144 = - \cos 36 = \dfrac{-1 -\sqrt{5}}{4}[/imath]
