Today, schools in several countries are considering the question of whether subjects like music and arts should be among those in the curriculum. For many people, a good knowledge of music and arts is regarded as a necessity for anyone who wants to be truly educated. Some say that students who are good at music and arts actually do better in more academic subjects like maths and science. However, some people see music and arts as an unimportant part of education since they don’t prepare students for a life of work.

Do you think music and arts should be compulsory subjects at schools in Viet Nam? Why or why not?

Ngày nay, trường học ở một vài quốc gia đang xem xét rằng liệu âm nhạc và nghệ thuật nên nằm trong chương trình học. Đối với nhiều người, một kiến thức âm nhạc và nghệ thuật tốt được xem như một điều cần thiết cho bất kỳ ai muốn được giáo dục thật sự. Vài người nói rằng những học sinh mà giỏi nghệ thuật sẽ học những môn học thuật như Toán và Khoa học tốt hơn. No, I don't think so. Because at school, there are many compulsory subjects at schools in Viet Nam.For me, I'm a student, I feel so tired about them.I know that, each person has a different opinion and Art and Music are useful and they can help you improve your self. But I think they shouldn't be compulsory subjects at schools in Viet Nam. Thank you for your reading!
